Meet Carole, founder of 2villages

Founded by My Family's Journey, Built for Yours​​

​​

2villages began with my own story: the raw, messy, beautiful reality of raising a child with a disability. I know the sleepless nights, the endless appointments, the moments of fierce advocacy, and the quiet victories that often go unseen. I also know the isolation that can come when the world doesn’t quite understand your child or you. ​

 

When my family and I were navigating this path, I longed for a place that didn’t just offer resources, but understanding. A place where I could connect with others who got it without needing an explanation. That place didn’t exist… so I decided to build it.

​

2villages is the community I wish I had when we first started our journey. It’s a space where caregivers, children, and siblings are seen, heard, and supported. Where we share strategies, celebrate wins, and remind each other that no one has to walk this road alone.

​

​This is not just my story anymore. It’s yours, too. Together, we are 2villages.
